Title I Information |
Guidance DepartmentGuidance InformationSchool counselors enhance the emotional, social, and academic growth of children to become their best in life through school counseling programs and services. Individual and group counseling as well as classroom guidance are benefits for all children in the school. For more information about school counseling visit the Georgia School Counselors Association website: www.gaschoolcounselors.com. Children establish lifelong behavioral patterns during ages 4 to 10 years old. The first five years of school are critical to a students growth and development. We strive to teach children that coming to school and being a student is their "job". Simply stated, children have 3 jobs: to be safe, learn stuff and have fun. We encourage parents to visit the school and view the materials available in the PARENT RESOURCE CENTER in the school counseling office. We have information available on parenting, how to help with homework, behavioral issues, careers, dealing with death, divorce, living in a step-family, making friends, bullying and so much more. Feel free to set up an appointment or call the school for more information. Let us work together to build a bright future for your children.
