From the Principal

Gail Clark

Welcome to Toombs County High School where students are taught to "Imagine, Believe, Achieve." Staff members encourage students to actively participate in their daily learning as well as to become involved in school sponsored activities. A weekly club schedule allows students who might have transportation issues otherwise to participate in activities that enhance their personal, social and intellectual growth. We offer many co-curricular and extracurricular activities to provide for varied student interests.

Toombs County High School continues to make AYP and is recognized as one of the top schools not only in this area, but also in the state. Our athletic programs excel. Our student body is a mostly cohesive group primarily from three ethnic backgrounds: white, black and Hispanic. Students of all races are involved in athletic, co-curricular and social events, which culminate in a school-sponsored prom, an extravaganza looked forward to by the juniors and seniors.

Parents are always welcome. Teachers welcome parental involvement to form a team to see that your children progress satisfactorily. Teachers and administrators will talk with you at any time about the progress your child is making. Administrators also have an open door policy to discuss concerns that students and their parents may have.

Toombs County High School, home of the Bulldogs, is a great place to receive an education.
