TCHS made GOLD on the Georgia Work Ready Test

STC's Lisa Adams & Principal Doug Alexander presented several seniors with a gift card to Wal-Mart for $50 and a "GOLD membership" in the Georgia Work Ready program. Additionally, the school will receive over $5000 to help at risk students receive tutoring and remediation for state testing. Georgia Work Ready is a program incentive to help area businesses recognize who is "work ready" when reviewing applicants for job openings. These students have shown on test results that they have advanced skills in reading, math and problem solving. Students of TCHS who have received "Gold" are Kelo Bagley, Skylar Beckum, Matthew Bell, Shane Brand, Ross Castro, Kristin Flowers, Douglas Goins, Jessica Griffis, Victoria Harris, Dakota Higgs, James Hodges, Mason Howell, Georgia Jernigan, Samuel Johnson, Benjamin Kilgore, Lindsey Lothridge, Kayla Peterson, Brenae Scott, and Blair Taylor.
